Trinity Lutheran Church is equipped with an Elevator.

Faith Mile Stones -  Focuses on eight key points in a child’s life. The program assists parents in nurturing their children and encouraging their growth in faith

 

  • Early Childhood Faith – for families and their babies from newborn up to three years of age. This class helps parents understand the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of young children. Parents learn to bless their babies to sleep every night. There are Sunday morning sessions.

 

  • Little Lutherans – for families and their three-year-old children who are beginning Sunday school and entering the Precious 3’s class. Parents learn to add prayers to the nightly routine of blessing. Children receive The SPARK Story Bible as a gift from their Trinity Church family. There are Sunday morning sessions in the fall.

 

  • School Days – for parents and their Kindergarten age children. This class teaches parents how to share daily “highs and lows” in their nightly routine of blessing and prayers. There is Sunday morning sessions in the fall.

 

  • Bible 101 – for parents and their 3rd & 4th graders. This class fulfills the baptismal promise made by families to place into the hands of their children the Holy Scriptures. The church in partnership with families, gives the parents a NEW Bible at the beginning of the class that becomes an OLD Bible as parents and children together highlight 120 key Bible passages. This event is for parents and their children. There are 9 Sunday morning sessions 2011.

 

  • You’re Forgiven – for parents and their 5th graders. This is a review of the Sacrament of Holy Communion. It teaches the importance of having an “I’m sorry” practice every night in the home. During one session, Eloise Adams teaches, “God is the potter and we are the clay”. Children make communion cups. There are Wednesday evening sessions in the spring.

 

  • Surviving Adolescence – Pre-Confirmation for 7th Graders and family. There are Wednesday evening sessions in the spring.

 

  • Confirmation – 8th and 9th graders and parents commit to two years of confirmation classes that prepare students to confirm their faith in the fall of 10th grade. Wednesday Education

 

  • Graduation – Graduating seniors and their parents participate in a Baccalaureate Blessing Service that emphasizes God’s continual care.
