Youth & Family Ministry -- Activities

LYU – Lutheran Youth United - A ministry of Albert Lea & surrounding area Junior & Senior High Youth living in God’s grace, sharing events and growing in Christ together.  

 

 

Early Out at Trinity – a safe nurturing place for children in grades K through 6^th to go on those scheduled Early Out school day from 12:30 – 5:30 PM. Activities include: games, crafts, movie, Bible story, outdoor play/walk, a snack and quiet time for reading or homework.

 

Vacation Bible School – children age 3 through 6^th grade -- This is a week in the summer for music, crafts and Bible fun. VBS is sponsored by six Lutheran churches in the Albert Lea area and is open to the community. It is held at Edge water Park and led by Okoboji Lutheran Bible Camp leaders.

 

Christmas & Easter Programs – led by youth and children in Sunday morning education.
