Lent exists for the sake of Easter.  It is a time to simplify our lives in order to return to the Lord in prayer, fasting, and works of charity.

Ash Wednesday

Soup and sandwich supper  (served by youth)

follows worship.

On Ash Wednesday we begin our Lenten journey by confessing our sins and receiving ashes as a sign of our repentance and our desire to be reconciled with God through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ our Lord.
